BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving husband, father, grandfather, son and friend, Anthony James Salazar, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Brigham City Community Hospital. He was born on July 6, 1968 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Anthony O. and Evangelina Silva Salazar.\nAnthony was reared and educated in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1986.\nHe married Amy Green in Layton, Utah and two children came from this union, Sydney and Christian. Anthony and Amy were later divorced. Anthony married his sweetheart, Nicole Bates on March 12, 2007 in Brigham City, UT. They had four daughters, Chloe, Gabriella, Sophia and Alexis.\nAnthony was currently employed with Brigham City Corp as their Green Waste Operator. He had worked at Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Autoliv, and Smith's Distribution Center.\nHe enjoyed music, long boarding, pickle ball, movies, golfing, going to the beach, but must of all spending time with his family.\nSurviving are his wife, Nicole, six children, Sydney Salazar; Christian (Kali) Salazar; Chloe, Gabriella, Sophia and Alexis Salazar; one granddaughter, Bayzia Lopez; his parents, Anthony Salazar and Angie Salazar. He was preceded in death by one sister, Khris Ann Salazar Drewes. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be held at later date in the Brigham City Cemetery.
