Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Terry Lee Forsgren, 72, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.\nHe was born on January 22, 1947 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Fred Lee and Verna Eileen Burt Forsgren. He was reared and educated in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1965 and graduated from Weber State University.\nTerry married Kathleen Davis and later divorced, but remained friends. He married Debbie Holt on October 31, 1989 in Brigham City and their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple in 2001.\nHe served in the Scotland Mission upon returning from his mission, he joined the Navy and served in Vietnam War.\nHe served in various callings in the LDS Church. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America and ran a small recycling business.\nTerry retired from Hill AFB in 1995. The jobs that gave him the most satisfaction was working at Apex Youth Center and driving the school bus.\nTerry loved to tinker and fix things, and was a true handy man. He also enjoyed doing puzzles with his family, playing cards and family vacations to Disneyland. He was a huge fan of Star Trek & Star Wars. He loved helping others.\nThe family would like to thank Integrity Hospice, especially Kaylee Ranjel, Belle Waddoups, Rachele Herbert, Tonya Hendricks and Brittany Newton and a special thanks to Connie and Jeff Rodseth.\nSurviving is his wife Debbie; children: Alexis and Austin Forsgren; Terry & Kathy's children: Jennifer (Joe) Hankins; Todd (Sheila) Forsgren; Chris (Kristen) Forsgren; Alicia (Trent) Lambert; 9 grandchildren; two siblings, Sid (Adele) Forsgren; Marsha (Blaine) Noorlander.\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\nIn lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gillies Funeral Chapel, P.O Box 704, Brigham City, Utah 84302 to offset funeral expenses.\nFuneral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 12th Ward, 139 East 300 North, following the services military honors will be accorded by Combined Veterans of Box Elder County Honor Guard.\nViewings will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and on Monday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.\nInterment will be at a later date in the Brigham City Cemetery.
